Saluxeducation is a knowledge exchange project, which encourages teachers and future teachers to share their skills and knowledge in the field of education in the Gambia. We participate in further developing the standards in the classrooms.
To make this happen we collaborate with schools, NGO's and the government to achieve a large -scale impact.
We work with various institutions, such as the Teachers College in The Gambia. We are also active at all school levels, from kindergarten to high school. Our main concern is the exchange of knowledge at various levels. This does not only take place in school but also outside.
We support schools an their teachers by organising workshops providing school materials, evaluating and optimising lessons together. We accompany and coach them where necessary.
Together with the teachers, we develop teaching methods, strucutres, skills and abilities in the classrooms.
This means supporting teachers in planning and conducting lessons.
Behind saluxeduc is a committed and professional team led by Anja Parin Jarra and Clark Jarra. We align our knowledge and skills with our personal values and interest in further developing the Gambian community. Our governance structure combines a system of project manager responsibility, regular meetings and selected consensus within our project team.
