saluxfarm is a start-up agribusiness in the Gambia that aims at supporting food self-sufficiency in the local community. To make this happen, we collaborate with partners and other entrepreneurs to provide agricultural services and farming skills training in order to achieve a large-scale impact and an inclusive agricultural value chain.

our work

We are currently developing farm operations in Sifoe, a small village in the Western part of the Gambia. There, we are planting and harvesting vegetables on 29‘100 m2 of land. This food is to be used in the Gambia’s everyday cuisine and is intended to contribute to a safe, nutritious and healthy diet.

our aim

We aim to transform our farm into a training centre that demonstrates various agricultural techniques and operates as a hub for exchanging agricultural experiences. We also aspire to provide consolidation and storage services, as well as equipment and logistical assistance, for our fellow local farmers.

our team

A dedicated and professional team is behind saluxfarm. We align our knowledge and skills with our personal values and interest in further developing the Gambian community. Our governance structure combines a system of project manager responsibility, regular meetings and selected consensus within our project team.
